RTI resource

This is a FANTASTIC resource guide!! I was introduced to it at an in-service. I ordered it as soon as I got home. It clarifies RTI and provides lists of activities to use for RTI instruction, many listed in an if..then format. This is a MUST have book for anyone frustrated with the mandates of RTI and inadequate time to search out activities.

More than just lesson plan ideas

This is a very well organized book. It is seeks to give the user some clarity and guidance on explaining RTI and the expeditions of each tier and it provides assessment forms for gaging where your student is and how to monitor progress for what the child does.
The suggestion are helpful for slow learners, ESOL, and some special needs learners. The author suggests and explains reading language arts technics and checklists, graphic organizers, student samples, simple rubrics for reading fiction and non fiction, and so,so, much more.
If you consider adding this book to your resources buy it before the school year begins and read the areas of your concern, peg the resource pages of interests to you and this book will help you be better prepared for the next school year.
I recommend this book for new and veteran teachers that want RTI done correctly in your classroom, with the right tools and a little less stress.
