No one had ever said the truth about the training requirements for the USMLE as the "How to Utterly Defeat the USMLE" literally from a student to student, and most importantly with HONESTY. This book will tell you what you need to know, about the engagement and discipline that is essential to excel the exams. Keeping your eyes and energy on your target "excellence". Highly recommended for those seeking to ENGAGE in the process. Great starter and motivator. A MUST TO HAVE book, for those whose purpose is excellence.

I'm an IMG new at this USMLE thing, this book has been incredibly useful, it's different because it gives the student perspective about the exams, but most important: how to prepare for it and succeed! it offers the student support and gives the tools and knowledge to understand how the USMLE test works, specially for students like me who are lacking of guidance and knowledge of this exams. It's a very friendly book to read with great examples, that i guess only us as med students understand. So if you are clueless about this unknown journey, I totally recommend it!
