About the Author
Lawrence J. Hatab is Louis I. Jaffe Professor and Chair of Philosophy at Old Dominion University. He is well known for his work in continental philosophy, and is a leading interpreter of Nietzsche. His best-known book is A Nietzschean Defence of Democracy (1995).

An interesting book on one of the most interesting ideas from Nietzsche

I got this book a while back and found it immensely stimulating - I am no philosophy or Nietzsche expert, but had been captured by the idea of the Eternal Recurrence of the Same for while - the previous book i read on it Nietzsche and the Victious Circle by Klossowski was too difficult i found to follow the trajectory of the arguments and ideas, but this book is on point and i found seldom a dry page.
